Located steps from the Bryn Mawr Red Line, Edgewater Piano Studio offers private and small group lessons tailored to each student's goals and experience. With over 15 years of international teaching experience, I focus on musical expression, solid technique, and joyful learning.

About the Teacher

My name is Katja, and I’m an awarded pianist and dedicated music educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. I hold a master’s degree in jazz piano from the Conservatory of Amsterdam and have served as a teaching assistant at the Royal Conservatory in the Netherlands.Music has always been a source of healing and deep joy in my life — a way to connect, reflect, and grow. It’s a privilege to share that experience with my students and to help them discover their own voice at the piano.My lessons focus on strong foundations, creativity, and expressive playing — always tailored to each student’s needs and personality. I welcome curious beginners as well as experienced players, ages 4 and up.
